The Coombe Farm of today was started in 1942 by Andrew Warren. The son of a Gloucestershire farmer, he was helped to buy his land near Crewkerne by another farmer.
It was an act of confidence, commitment and support he would never forget. As his own farming success story developed he used his unique combination of farming knowledge, business skills and philanthropic outlook to not only extend his own acreage, but also to help others who wanted to become farmers in their own right.
